Description Another oldie which I still like (hey don't worry, just gotta catch up but I'll upload new stuff soon ). I label it as "traditional" because 80% of it was done with pencil and paper ; I drew it and did all of the shading with a pencil, and the computer was used only to add flat colors and the background texture. The goal was to work on the lighting (and still is ).

Hi, I was wondering if I could use (with credit, of course) your art work for a card I'm creating for an online game. It would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,

Sure ! As long as you give proper credits, it would be my pleasure to see this drawing used in your game. Keep me informed when you make progress ! Wish you luck.

It's funny how this sand wyrm seems to be the favorite of many people ; it always surprises me (in a good way) ! ^^

This is incredibly well done - the lighting looks great. It's often hard (for me, at least) to combine pencil shading with digital colors, but you've done a brilliant job of it. I especially like the head, and the scales - simple, but very effective. The dust in front is a little flat/"blurry" compared to the crisper 'texture' of the background, but the overall effect is great.

Thank you for your constructive comment ! I had never really seen that issue with the blurry/crisper sand but now that you mention it, it definitely could've been improved. Should've been the contrary actually ! Crisper sand in the foreground, blurrier sand in the background. What was I thinking... ?

Honestly, it's not that "bad" or anything - the main focus is that fantastically awesome Sand Wyrm, and having really detailed 'sand' in the front could (potentially) distract from it. Maybe even just blurring the background a bit and/or darkening it could help? Excellent piece, still ^_^
