Alright, asked me to do this cause we're showing our support of the thesis that there are two Sheiks, OoT Sheik being MALE and TP Sheik being FEMALE.If you want to know why, visit Nina's journal found here --> [link]
It's pretty much our argument. Mine being this (abridged) :
OoT Zelda-- not hard for a kid to be all "ok, I'll be a boy", is trying to hide and used magic to do so. Being of a different race AND gender is a way better disguise.
TP Zelda-- Changed to Sheik for sheikah powah. As an adult, sex change is awkward. She is also not trying to hide.

In addition, this is the first time I've EVER drawn Sheik. I was excited. XD

I share your opinion about OoT Sheik being male and brawl Sheik female.
And in most games it's a different Zelda and Link. Still the 'same' soul but with his/her own characteristics.
So why should the Sheik TP(Brawl) Zelda turns into be the same from OoT Zelda?
They aren't exactly the same person.
(And OoT Sheik HAD to use the power from Zeldas triforce to turn back into her)

I think Sheik is a girl and there are many opinions

AMEN. I completely agree. Sheik was most definately male in OoT I do believe that with Zelda's magic abilities she could change her gnder. I know Zelda is Sheik, but it's much more obvious with the newly designed Sheik to reason that he is a she. So the answer, two sheiks. Great art, might I add.

U did one of my *faves* faves! its one of the best sheik pieces ive personally ever seen!And to me people should stop debating weather sheik is a female or a male! its every ones personal opinion what sheik is although personally i beleve sheik is a girl because i think zeldas powers only cover aperances not gender change just because sheik LOOKS like a boy dosent mean she/he is!

.... there is a Twilight Princess Sheik? I have beaten that game so many times and have yet to see Sheik in it... unless you are talking about Super Smash bros Sheik, cause that would make more sense

Nice drawing AND a very valible theory. I theorize something *close* to this but it revolves around Sheik and Zelda being two DIFFERANT embodiements of the same soul, and being differant races,genders, and even differant people entirely. I also love how you drew the SSBB shiekah-Princess (thats what I call her sometimes...)... You even included the case thingy for her "unused" knife from OoT, and most of my friends dont notice the random blade on Sheik's thigh? weird...

Sheik is female. Sheik is Zelda. Zelda is female. So therefore, Sheik is female, and NEVER has been male. Never. So no, Ocarina of Time Sheik ISN'T male. There are SO many arguments about this when there shouldn't be. If you pay attention to the game, they give hints that Sheik is female.
Gossip Stone quote from OoT: "They say that, contrary to her elegant image, Princess Zelda of Hyrule Castle is actually a tomboy!". If Zelda is a tomboy, she can easily pull of the Sheik thing...
Zelda tells Link straight out that she was Sheik:
"I apologize for meeting you in disguise, but it was necessary to hide from the King of Evil. Please forgive me."
See? Sheik is female.
Although I do like the idea that Sheik is male, as I do tend to call Sheik male and draw her as a male at times, Sheik. Is. Female

yes he did, Ocarina of Time was the fist chronological appearance of Ganondorf and his Triforce glowed when he became Ganon. The creators have never said anything o hinted anything about Sheiks' gender. Sheik is most likely a male form of elda.

Is it really nessicary to argue about this? I mean...if someone wants to have their own theory about a videogame character, what's the harm in allowing them to do so?
I have a theory about Sheik, too, and it's really strange and different, but it makes sense to me.
I'm just saying, there's really no reason to correct someone about something like this. Enough was left up to speculation.

I've actually never heard of that idea before with there being two Sheiks. Makes me reconsider some things, heh. That's definitely one thesis I can get behind, though!
I really like the way you worked with all the different shades of blue. I'm also really digging how the male Sheik's whip curls around the female Sheik and her acrobatics overheard. Great work!
