You cannot use the program itself. You can only use the toolbar which is basically a explorer extension. To do this install Styler in compatibility mode. Afterwards rightclick in your explorer area. Select Styler toolbar and you are done.
If you only want it for the ribbon explorer, google for "Better Explorer". This gives you the ribbon UI and is made for Win7.

Better Explorer sucks..I installed it and it deleted my explorer.exe and i had to re-format my pc....so bexplorer sucks...

PS:Wrong up button. You need to replace wrong up button (Recent Pages) by correct up button (Green arrow on folder) I can make by change toolbar.ini then swap "StylerEB" button and "up" button as
Before:
up=up.png,54,122,Up
StylerEB=fu.png,73,123,*
After:
up=fu.png,73,123,Up
StylerEB=up.png,54,122,*

Zunächst einmal, diese Version ist überholt. Die aktuelle Version ist hier enthalten[link]
Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass die Styler Software bereits auf Deinem Computer installiert ist. Entpacke also diesen Download und kopiere den kompletten Ordner in das Skin Verzeichnis von Styler. Du brauchst dann nur auf das rechte äussere Zeichen (meistens ein Fragezeichen) deiner aktuellen Toolbar zu klicken, um das Skinverzeichnis zu öffnen. Klicke an was Du benutzen willst, und es sollte gehen.Styler ist extrem stabil und macht normalerweise keine Probleme.

Ist mir schon klar. Du brauchst ja auch nicht Alles zu benutzen. Pick Dir einfach die Stylertoolbar heraus.

Hab die Toolbar in den Styler skin ordner rein gepackt, und jetzt hab ich vier auswahl möglichkeiten, egal welche ich anklicke, nichts funktioniert...

Wenn Du nur das Aussehen der Toolbar ändern willst, brauchst Du nichts zu installieren. Kopiere einfach den neuen Skin in den Skinsordner der Styler toolbar. Dann klicke auf das rechte Zeichen der Default toolbar. Im aufklappenden Menü den Skin auswählen und anklicken. Das ist Alles.
Das mit dem Style installieren ist dafür da den VS zu wechseln.

No this changes no caption buttons. Only the toolbars of the explorer.

I´ve installed Styler on Win 7, but doesn´t work for me.. When i activate the Toolbar in the Explorer Options you see only the Default...What can i do that it works?

Click on the right icon of the default skin. You will see a option "Go to skins directory".Paste the content of this deviation in the folder. Now restart your computer. Click on the right button of the default theme and choose the skin you want to use from the options menu.Done.

It's easy. Open a window. Click organize. In the dropdown menu select layout. After that activate the menubar. When the menubar appears rightclick in it and activate Styler toolbar. That's all.

hay thanks for the reply, i must of been tired from all the spelling mistakes lol anyway iv got a x64 laptop, apparently styler dosnt work with x64 so that might be why its not working for me. iv activated the menu bar and nothings there so unless you know of a way, i guess ill have to miss out dame x64 bit lol
