It doesn't, the campaign does extend to the 40's though. I was just pointing out how Empire Earth's artwork is set in WW1 and yours is in WW2.

First came the murderous artillery and rocket barrages. Out of the smoke and dust came the point of the spear......Tanks followed by half a million soldiers.

The dark color scheme and the approaching tanks really hit home how desperate the situation is for the Germans... After all, by 1944 there was little doubt of the outcome of the war.
