She's a lady in love, and she's ready to try her best! Here comes the really fluffy glassmaker, Mica! ₍՞◌′ᵕ‵ू◌₎♡

Mica is a common inkdrian sporting skeleton flowers~ While she's spent most of her life gradientless, she gained her first color of light pink after meeting a very kind and lovely knight by the name of Artemis 8D You've heard of tales about people being so gay that they fall in love easily, but Mica's proof that those people exist, because all it took was Artemis complimenting her on her glass art sculptures and calling her amazing for Mica's Disaster Lesbian status to kick in 8D But it's natural to be hopelessly smitten with someone like Artemis right?? Not only is the girl beautiful, but she's so noble and helpful and-- if you hear a heartsick sigh, that's Mica and she needs help 8)

But in all sincerity, it was... really nice. To be called amazing uwu Because Mica's always seen her as average. Not necessarily like, the bottom of the barrel, but her own dad never brags about her to his sisters. And with her cousin Silica being the literal queen of her kingdom and being amazingly talented and intelligent and smart, Mica never saw herself above "okay". (She's totally wrong about how people perceive her though-- her dad adores her and has just had too many years being in an eternal competition of his sisters and being compared to them that he didn't want to put her through it, and Silica adores Mica). So for someone to validate her--someone she perceived as amazing and incredible and admirable from the get-go--and for them to tell her that she's amazing??

It's... it's pretty something.
It's life changing and Mica gets pink for it 8D

So yeah, Mica falls in love, and the deeper she falls in love with Arty, the brighter her pink gets uwu She also gets bright gold and orange later on, probably due to travelling with Arty to places? But it's representative of how she eventually gains the courage to believe in herself and expand her horizons and yeah uwu She and Arty are gonna be super gay and super in love and she's aiming to be Most Supportive Girlfriend 8D

Also noteworthy! Mica's design is based off of mica glass! Mica glass is really interesting because, in normal light, it looks plain and kinda average, and plus it feels fragile and is easy to crack, like so~

So Mica's gradient markings are a homage to the cracks in the mica glass I played with in my physics lab, and her colorless to super colorful look and her personality of seeing herself as "plain" when lots of people see her as something fancy is inspired specifically by a simple physics lab experiment uwu It was my favorite lab 8D Because it was easy 8D Because I normally hate doing physics but at least it gave me Mica 8D

Shout out to Remmis-AppleMaster for letting me design a girlfriend for Arty! QAAAAQ Because I. Fcking adore Arty. ;vvv; And I was like "I want to marry her Rem" and she was like "why don't you just make her someone she can marry" and I was like "!!!!!!!!!!!!" but seriously still highkey honored you'd let me in on Arty's relationships I die Rem qvq But also shout out to her for compiling my multiple reference images of Mica bc I am #limited on my art programs and I didn't know how to put all these pics on one canvas XD which is why there are many Remmy notes 8D I'm not getting rid of them bc they are great and I adore 8D
