Description
So the day before Jason left for Toronto we sat around and drank (between us) 1 six pack of beer, and 6 bottles of wine.After which we proceeded to take these photos.
p.s. there was no photoshop used this was done in the darkroom its a "lith print"

I've been on DA for a few years now and this is still, by a long way, my favourite photograph on here. This is an absolutely superb shot and one I always have to keep coming back to. You should get blind drunk and get your camera out more often

it is possible, i think the shots were of the salton sea. amazing place that is. Matt was actually one of the judges for my 203 review a few years ago. if I may ask... how is being graduated? are you doing b/w photography as a career? I do mostly fine art and I am just wondering if I could make a living at ONLY that... and I'm about to graduate.

I sell a couple of prints a month but not enough to support myself. I'm trying to do more and more until I can however it is a lot of work. I work 40 hours a week at a camera shop (I buy used gear so it isn't all bad because I get some good deals) and spend all my spare time shooting and printing.

I only do fine art, I have a pretty strong opposition to commercial photography. I just don't like what it has become culturally.

That is exactly how I feel. I am just a little worried that I won't be able to support myself or my wife on only a fine art career. I feel like I have to find something inside myself which is somewhat commercial so that I can put money in the bank somewhat regularly. Did you know Chris Broughton?

Very cool, did you use Polymer Polyester plates in the lith process? Thats the only way I've ever done it. Made a four color print that way. Very nice.
