Description So the day before Jason left for Toronto we sat around and drank (between us) 1 six pack of beer, and 6 bottles of wine.
After which we proceeded to take these photos.

p.s. there was no photoshop used this was done in the darkroom its a "lith print"

Ha!! It's a funny one...
I saw this photo on someone's jurnal and I looked at it and said, 'damn, this is so Tom Waits, I love it!!" and then I came to check upon your stuff and saw you actually love him.
I am so good!!

*stunned*

it's Pushkin...

drunk and inspired. craking one of his brilliant though half-indecent poems to his old Lyceum friends.

it's funny how the momentary impress reveals the archetypal past - remote but living. and sad. a little...

Well you say no manip but you did mess around with burning it in the darkroom, right?

Because it might be a bit harder in the darkroom but its the same thing as using PS

Not that I'm a fan of PS

Perry,

This is just lovely, his emotions, his facial expressions...see you could have partied like at my house...but I would have drank you under the table Tell you what, next time you are in Houston care for a drinking contest?

I really love your darkroom technique here, it looks as if he is shaking off the dust of the past to gt ready for the future of Toronto.

oh dear, you really don't want to get into a drinking contest with me, i'm Ukrainian after all(at least by blood). Jason being russian (again by blood) it was a interesting drinking combonation...

KittyTrishia In reply to perry [2005-02-22 08:44:55 +0000 UTC]

Hahahahahahhahahaa oh you NEED to party with me then. I have out drank every single person I know, including my dad, all of Alan's Norwegian friends (at the same time), and a horde of Russian Cosmonaughts when I used to work for NASA. I have been trained well . Anyways, sounds like you want a drinking contest! Pool will be complete in 6weeks!

It sounds like an awesome time, I usually paint after I have drank that much, or play monopoly...I guess I could try a photograph here and there, but I doubt my result will be as fantastic as yours. Not that I mind really, it would just be to live and capture the moment.
