Description
So here's a piece on a Courage the Cowardly Dog character, and might give a small history lesson on this show.
Courage the Cowardly Dog was one of the original Cartoon Network shows that came out during the first 10 years of the network. It's about a dog named Courage who was adopted by by a old couple after he was abandoned as a pup. Now the thing about Courage is that he's afraid of most things as he worries someone might harm him or his owners, and he's right as most episodes would have some monster trying to attack them. Despite being a coward, Courage does try his best to protect himself and his owners from the dangers they face. This was originally a short that aired on CN's "What-a-Cartoon" where it plays shorts either on existing or new properties. This was one of the original shorts that aired on that show alongside Powerpuff Girls that later became actual shows (I'm not sure if there's more or not that later became full shows as I was very young). It was one of the first shows to be done in digital ink. I remember the original short the show was later based around at a very young age and it kinda scared me towards the end (you'll see why) and later saw the show for a while, but dropped out of it until my family fully had cable again in lat 2003.
I actually did a Courage piece back in 2018, but it was in a sketch dump and wanted to do a proper piece. This one is on one of the villains Katz, who was a foe Courage really dreads, mainly due to his design and nature. I don't remember this guy that much, then again the network would play certain episodes on a certain time.
