".....Pity..."The third entry to 's Finktober jam, here we reach into my days of watching Cartoon Network like an addict. Courage the Cowardly Dog was probably in my top 3 of that era, and Katz was the perfectly calmly creepy counterpart to Courage's jittery starring role. And I'll be damned if that theme of his wasn't one of the best villain themes on that network. This was from the Klub Katz episode, since I always enjoy a good set of snappy island duds.
Katz and Courage belong to their respective owners and creators. The artwork belongs to me.

Haha, I really love your Finktober submissions! So many fun characters with fun colours. This one caught my eye, as I was sure I recognised him, and yes, of course, Courage The Cowardly Dog! Brilliant choice, and I love how you've drawn him too. That vibrant red and purple combo looks awesome and you've just inspired another rewatch of Courage!

Sadly, I never did watch Courage the Cowardly Dog as a kid. Not because I disliked it, I just never had the channel that aired the show. 
But don't let my tale of woe get in the way of this wonderful tribute! You did John Dilworth's unique style justice here! And the slanted angle adds to the creepiness - well done!

I was on the fence between Katz and KIIIING RAAAAAMSEEEEYYYY, but decided to go with Katz since he usually creeped me out more as a kid. Either way, good to know you're getting into his work now. Thanks!
