Hello! Thank you! I made this drawing with the medium strathmore paper and various shades of pencils Staedtler. I not understand what meant with scratchboard.

wow, to draw the dark background with pencils would have taken forever. This is an ideal drawing to be done in a scratchboard. Check this one [link] which is made with scratchboard.
In a scratchboard the board is black, and you scratch on it with a sharp object to reveal the white clay underneath.

I use various shades of STAEDTLER pencils. And pencil from Faber Castell. everything depends on the effect you want to do.
