Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”
Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him and said, “No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing. Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don’t do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.”

Those Sodomites sure were messed up...
Little did they realise they also messed up big-time by showing such behaviour in front of God's angels...

Indeed... in the live-action TV miniseries, the Bible, we even see those angels in full badass action...
Not the typical depiction of ethereal androgynous beings in white robes, harps and halos, the way the Bible miniseries depicted angels were these tough soldiers in distinctive priestly breastplates, armed with swords and capable of whooping major butt when it came to decisive action - such as leading Lot's family out of Sodom, cutting down any godless foe that tried to stop them!
While I still imagine white robes myself, I also picture angels as powerful beings with flaming swords and fiery wings...

Yup, certainly my preference of how angels look, as opposed to those silly cartoon angels with harps...
Likewise, I kind of imagine Satan as a literal fallen angel, as opposed to a ridiculous red demon with a trident... possibly wings ripped off and his once-white robe tattered and dark, but he tries to keep up the deception of being an "angel of light" by wearing a white outer garment or something to hide his true nature?

That was very bold to say of Lot, but he spoke the best he could at that stage I believe.
Heck, if he had brought out those angels, they would have been killed on-sight if nothing else.
But then again, they perished in the destruction anyway. 
(but man isn't it just so GROSS that they demanded that of Lot!?
