Description
An inktober piece featuring my Aequis, Shirk, looking like his odd self. I will get back to Aequis designs at some point, I promise! *screaming*Higgins sepia calligraphy (non waterproof) ink with Daler-Rowney FW acrylic sepia ink for darker areas on Stonehenge paper.
I shouldn't have to say this, but please do not use this personal art in any way, whether it be direct plagiarism (tracing, claiming copyright, etc.) or otherwise. People have been nicking my things for tattoos and, though it would be unlikely anyone would want Shirk's odd head on them permanently, I still feel I need to say please don't. Thank you.

Does this title also count as a pun? Because I initially read it as 'shirk' (or avoid) the anomaly, or strange one ha. I was confused for a bit when I read the description X)

It could be, but he's really the one that's more or less avoiding other Aequis! So he shouldn't be surprised if some of them avoid him back.

Frizzles, yes; as well as Saint pigeons, and a couple of other odd birdy traits whose origins I can't seem to remember at this moment! But those are the main ones, yep!

Anomaly pertains mostly to the uncommon deformity in his crest and neck feathers, and also refers to his behavior.

Awww that sounds awesome. But I think your prices are very fair. Until now I was sadly always to slow. Time Zones are, at least for me, the bigger problem if it comes to snatch up species or adopts. xD And as long as the prices dont go up to the thousands, I can manage it with a little saving up. Expect its Christmas time, no one has money on Christmas time lol xD
If I can decide about what bird I would like Im up for a custom. ^.^

Thank you very much! I think this piece taught me another way to do feathers in ink, which was surprisingly relaxing.

I bet!Β I am so detail oriented, which is why I prefer to work with colored pencils.Β I guess with inks you have to master really good control over the brush, or just let the brush do its work and be happy with the results.
