So oh god I am so sorry.In any case, I realize I've built up a pretty sizable collection of sketches on my tumblr account. I don't usually post sketches to DA unless they're decent, which means a lot of people have been missing out on them. So I gathered them all, hurled them at a photoshop canvas and pretended not to notice how GODDAMN MASSIVE IT IS.
This is a collection of sketches from roughly a year, I believe. A lot of it is development of stories going on in my head (primarily Chapel Also Ran), but there's some older characters as well as some fanart (Harvest Moon, Oblivion, Minecraft, Resident Evil, Dark Souls, Fallout and Legend of Mana to name a few). There's also some style development, character development, goddamn trees, obese cowboys--you name it.

These are all fantastic! You really have a wide range of skill when portraying all sorts of characters. I especially love that blue character with the snarly teeth. She's great!

It actually isn't, but holy shit now that I look at her damn that's a striking resemblance to an RO assassin. WELL THANKS NOW I HAVE TO REDESIGN HER WAY TO GO.

Thanks! It doesn't feel like I drew that much, but I guess it begins to pile up. It's cool to make these because you look back and go "huh. I guess I did draw a lot, and neat, I think I improved, too!"

I think it's partially to blame the school I went to--we were required to do a LOT of sketch work very fast. On the plus side, I can toss out sketches and roughs like mad. On the down side--I have no idea how to finish anything, so a lot of times I actually like my sketches more than anything "finished."

Yeaaah, I'm horrendously the same. I also begin to color stuff and then just grow... bored? I dunno, I get dissuaded REALLY easily, even though it's almost guaranteed what you're working on is going to look like poop at some point. :C

Yeah, I feel ya! That's why I give up on a lot of stuff, even though I really shouldn't. But on the plus side, those pieces you do push through and overcome generally turn out awesome!

Thanks! I actually really like drawing monsters like that! Most of my sketchbooks when I was a kid were just filled with monsters--monsters and Sonic the hedgehog, as I couldn't really draw humans. I think the only reason I don't draw more of them is because I -also- really like drawing people with stupid facial expressions.
That thing's actually the shadowy beast in this ( [link] ) picture, just actually in light.
