Personal
Personality:
[Optimistic/Caring/Extroverted]
- Despite the situation Trinity has found herself in, she firmly believes that things are going to turn out well. She’s the type to find a silver lining in every situation and a good trait in every person, no matter how hard she has to dig. Things will be okay! She’s sure of it!
- All Trinity wants is for everyone to be happy and have a shoulder to lean on when there's no one else to turn to. She will drop everything to help a friend in need. Or even a stranger! She’s caring and compassionate to the point that it can get annoying for some, as she does her best to help situations and people she knows nothing about.
- Trinity is incredibly sociable and outgoing, willing to talk to basically everyone and make new friends. Being alone for too long makes her restless, so she can often be found in public spaces, waiting to find someone to chat with.
[Talkative/Emotional/Curious]
- Trinity doesn’t like silence, a fact that is immediately obvious the second you talk to her. She’s the type to ramble on about pretty much anything for hours. For those who don’t mind, it’s fine, but others tend to get annoyed by her blabbermouth. She also struggles to stop talking long enough to let the other person speak, so she accidentally monopolizes conversations she’s in.
- Trinity is very in touch with her emotions, but also easily swayed by them. This isn’t a bad thing when she’s happy or affectionate and expresses it openly, but it might catch others off guard when she suddenly bursts into tears. She may try to hide when she’s sad or angry, but never to much success, because she’s an open book.
- Constantly amazed by how much has happened in the 12 years since she disappeared, she is always asking questions about things she doesn’t get. She isn’t the brightest, though, so she asks a lot of questions about everything. This can get really annoying for some. She loves to learn, despite the fact that she struggles with difficult or complex subjects.
[Childish/Clingy/Paranoid]
- Trinity is most certainly a childish person, from her endless optimism to the way she tends to whine and pout when she doesn’t get her way. She doesn’t take criticism well, and is the type to mope over even helpful suggestions. She doesn’t like getting her way, and will complain a lot if she feels she’s not being listened to or taken seriously.
- Trinity can’t stand being alone. She can almost always be found glued to the hip of her close friends, often pestering them to spend time together and getting annoyed when they’re busy. She even gets jealous when her friends seem to be better friends with other people… that’s her friend!!
- Despite how strongly she clings to her optimistic outlook, what has happened to her has marked her with a profound fear that she can never fully escape from. She tends to overthink situations and cling onto the smallest reasons why something might end up being bad. She is desperately afraid of people hurting her, so despite her friendly and optimistic nature she can conflict herself when she’s afraid of someone hurting her.
Time Era: 1989-2008
History:
[TW For Physical violence and blood]
Born to two loving parents in Unova, Trinity Erickson was born in some of the best conditions. Surrounded by loving family members, being spoiled rotten by her parents and being able to get whatever she wanted just by asking nicely. However, she didn't let any of this go to her head, she was insanely grateful for what her parents gave her and did for her! Her parents seemed really cold and mean on the outside, but they were really good people and she adored them!
School was really nice for Trinity, she was easily likable with her bubbly personality and willingness to befriend everyone! However, she was never the smartest and her grades reflected that. She had a C to D average in all of her classes, which sucked, it wasn't like she wasn't trying either! She was just not good with school and everything went in one ear and came out the other, this eventually led to her failing the 9th grade flat out. Which also sucked but that was fine! She'd just make new friends and keep her old friends!
She had spent the rest of her 9th grade year trying to make friends with the rest of the kids in her grade seeing as she was new to all the people in her grade. Most of the people liked her or tolerated her so she'd stop bothering them and pestering them to be her friend. Except this one boy... His name was Beckett Balter! He was really mean and he didn’t seem to have any friends-- probably because he picked on everyone and yelled at them and drove them away. But Trinity couldn’t stand seeing someone eat alone at lunch, so she would occasionally sat next to him and tried to talk. The other kids gave her weird looks and Beckett usually just insulted her, but it was better than him having nothing! The rumors that he was from a bad home just strengthened her resolve to help him. It was incredibly idealistic… the thought that she could heal someone broken. But she was determined. Everyone has good in them, right?
For years, she tried on and off to befriend Beck, with him rebuffing every advance she gave. She tried everything; telling him he can come over, volunteering to work on projects with him when no one else would, encouraging him to come to her swim meets… but nothing worked. If anything, he only seemed more annoyed as time went on. The other kids wondered if she had a crush on him. She didn’t! She just! Wanted to be friends with him! Though he told her very little about himself, she became even more sure that he was living in a bad situation, that he had been hurt before. She was sure all he needed was love to help him. Love conquers all, right?
Though Beck yelled at her and made her cry many times, it really came to a head near the end of their senior year. He screamed at her behind the school, telling her to give up the sick game she was playing, to quit joking with him , that he knew she never meant any of it. She insisted she did. For what was probably the millionth time, she insisted Beck was her friend and she wanted him to be happy. She put a hand on his shoulder, and Beck smacked her hard across the face. She was stunned. But once he had started he couldn’t stop, knocking her to the ground, stomping on her, forcing her to curl up in a ball and cry and do nothing but beg him to stop. Why was he doing this? What did she do wrong? What did she do wrong? By the time he was done and left she was sore and nauseous from the smell of blood. She closed her eyes…
...And awoke in a room that wasn’t hers.
