having purchased DragThing [link] lately i'm totally blown away by all its capabilities and potential.for these two screenshots i was using ~StefanKa 's SimpleOne-Dragthing Theme here and then set it to fully transparent so that all the icons and shortcuts would now be displayed on my wallpaper alterations, and which now mimic the actual dock/bar backgrounds.
in other words: all docks are part of the wallpaper i made. and dare i say it, i just love it.

ich bin auch ganz begeistert von dem ergebnis.
viele wochen hatte ich nur den nackten wallpaper mit dem apple logo auf dem desktop, bis mir dann relativ plΓΆtzlich die idee mit den docks und dem "streifen" am linken rand kam. ich bin dann kurzer hand fΓΌr ein/zwei stunden in PS abgetaucht und als ich fertig war, hab ich Γ€hnlich gestaunt wie du.
ich freu mich und danke dir fΓΌr den fav!

well, for now i only have a 2560x1440 version ready, which i can of course send over to you.
but when you say "without the dock", then i assume that you're only talking about the one that's centered on the bottom, right?
so, if i got you right, then you're interested in just the plain blue apple wallpaper plus that bar-like area on the left.
what's your screen-res? maybe i'll find the time to create a version for you with all the patterns and grains.

You explained that Dock to be part of the wallpaper, so yes - I have no use for that.
The plain blue Apple image has an amazing shade of blue, just the right texture IMHO.
My screens are 1920/1200 and 1680/1050, but I can rescale and/or crop - no need for you to put extra work in it.

well, that's a selfmade one, which unfortunately isn't available for download (yet). sorry.
i might release it when i have more time to create more versions for all the different screen resolutions there are.
i'm not sure tho, if i should make it with or without that bar-like area on the left.
what would you like better?
but if you don't like to wait, i can already send you a 2560x1440 sized version of it.
just tell me which elements you'd like or don't like to be a part of it.

den mac hab ich mir im august letzten jahres gekauft und die community bekam davon wind mit diesem screenshot. 
falls du dich nun (wie manch andere) sorgen solltest, dass ich nun keine CAD skins mehr mache oder dass ich CAD in irgendeiner weise den rΓΌcken zukehren kΓΆnnte, dann sei unbesorgt. einer der ersten schritte nachdem ich den mac gekauft habe war, dass ich win7 installiert habe. ich hab mich sogar mehrfach rΓΌckversichert, dass windows auf jeden fall und ohne mucken auf dem mac laufen wird, denn sonst hΓ€tte ich ihn wohl nicht gekauft. CAD ist und bleibt meine grosse leidenschaft und ein sehr wichtiges hobby fΓΌr mich. kein mac kann mich davon abbringen.
