I've dabbled in digital painting for school, but nothing realy stuck because I just couldn't reconcile the difference between computer and real paint. So this is my first real stab at painting with a computer. I still don't enjoy it as much as real paint but with no access to my painting supplies right now I can't complain. Needless to say I learned alot doing this piece. I hope to do more like this soon.

I decided to use stock from ~Tigers-stock for the bg pattern because I just couldn't come up with a design and I'm kinda burnt out from 3 weeks of working on this.

As per usual this is the 'king' of my OCs my genderbend moon god Lunniea.

The crown really sticks out a lot. It seems to need some "shine" or "shade"

I like everything but the flat-grey stars of the crown. I follow why you want them generally a bit darker than Lunniea's face and hair to avoid distracting our focus, but the flat grey is unsatisfying - as if L's wearing plastic cocktail stirrers or something. I'd suggest putting a low-relief design in their centers in either the cream used to vary the crown's base, or the (I think) paler cream of L's hair.

Otherwise, this rocks! Including the heterochromic eyes, which are perfect for the variable moon.
