Yeah, not to mention people blame her for EVERYTHING that happened. She's a contributing factor, maybe but everyone has choices and its their own faults for what happened to them. She's very interesting though, she reminds me of a few people I know

I don't care about that bitch though, she can rot in hell for all I care and so can her mother, and Sid's mother, Michelle, Steve and The Sun newspaper.

I think it's fair to say I really really like this drawing, you've managed to make her look pretty, and that soft shadingstyle you've got going on looks really nice not to mention the amount of details (especially the lips and hair) , really well done!

I like it more when artist put a little twist in their work, and not identically copying the reference photo, so it's perfect you made it work for your eyes. But I'll check out the other Nancy in your gallery, if my connection holds, you've really got me interested now, especially since I've only got a Johnny's point of view on her, and well a few remarks from Steve and Paul, I might just even try to get a copy of that book, and I'm actually even thinking about buying Glens book, I was a bit prejusticed about it, though I like him, but people have been telling me it's really good. Oh, sorry, I'm ranting on about something completely different.

So, shockingly surprised, the book turned to be (Yoda, not intended..)
You know.. whether you like her or you hate her.... the book is still a good read...
Bonus... being written by her mom and all... she doesn't really sugar coat anything.. it's how they felt and shit.. it's really good..
they need a movie now!!!
omg.. I really love the book... I really want people who think bad of her to love to book too...
shit.. now I wanna but you a copy.
(Amazon.com.. fairly cheap)
enjoy. if you read it...
.... Glen's book? Didn't even know... so what that about... his bio? or life as a Pistol Bio???
Hmmmm now I'm interested...
and thanks for the comments.

I should really pay amazon.com a visit too, because dollar rate is in such a lowpoint right now I'd save quite a lot, I'm definitely get the nancy one, I'm still hesitating about Glens' book, it's called 'I was a teenage sex pistol' so it seems to be kind of pistols bio then I guess, he updated it last year with chapters about the reunions, which are excellent or so I hear. I think while I'm at it I might just get the book which includes stories about Johnny, do you have any other suggestions about which books about pistols to get?
No worries about the comments, you're worth every one of them and more!

I probably should have mentioned that I have John's book, when it arrived i literally ran to the post office to get it, I obsessively admire him (honestly, the man can do no wrong in my eyes) but even I was surprised by how great his writing skills actually are, the book made me laugh and cry (and it's so not like me to get very emotional about anything), but there's no point in me ranting about that, you summarised it quite perfectly. I'm anticipating the book about PIL, he has mentioned writing it quite a few times. About the Rotten Day recordings, I've heard the ones which are on John's official site, it's a shame he doesn't have his own show on TV or radio anymore, I understand why they're kind of banning him, but it's just wrong. I admire his sense of humour, it's always right on the money.
I've heard of quite a few books about Sid, the one that comes to mind right now is Alan Parker's , I think it was called something like 'Too fast to live', but I don't know if it's any good, I probably remember it because I've read about it on the Sex Pistols boards, which Mr. Parker himself is a member of. It doesn't have a yellow cover though,so it's not the one you're thinking of, but I know that there's somekind of book from Noel Monk about the american tour which includes a lot of little interesting stories about Sid. There are so many different books about the Pistols it's difficult to sort out the good one's, they're all very subjective though, that's why I like Johnny's method of putting in a lot of comments from other people. Okay, I'm reall starting to rant here, better I'd better wrap this up. If you weren't worth the time, i wouldn't bother, right? It's good to chat with another SP's fan (if I may call you that)

Those people with interesting things to say, they would probably make other people think for themselves too, and the big-bad-institutions-corporations-media-and-other-stuff simply can't allow that, twisting Hitler's words an bit: how fortunate that people do not think. But you knew all that anyway, but it does make me understand it, which doesn't mean I approve, I'm wandering from the subject a bit, but it scares me that even though I know I'm being well..brainwashed, i can't break out of it. That really doesn't make any sense. XD
I know so little about PIL too, seems like it's not called limited for nothing, I've read a few interviews and things, I'm still hoping that John is coming out with his book about PIL soon, I bet someone will ask him about it on thursday.
And I got your point about the authors and it's a good one, so I'm glad you chose the excuse instead of the
delete key.
I have not seen Cop Killer, not that easy getting my hands on a copy of it around where I live, but I've seen clips on youtube, so I have a vague overview of the movie. It has 'made in Italy' written all over it, that's a mild generalization, isn't it? But the few italian films I've seen, they've got this weird atmosphere but it seems kind of fake, that's the sort of the vibe I got from watching the clips, but I'm hoping that if i finally do get to see the movie, it'll prove me wrong, because I kind of liked the concept. But on silimar subject, I haven't seen Sid and Nancy from the beginning to the end either, I tried, I really tried to watch it, being a Johnny's girl trough and trough, I just couldn't handle how he was portraied in it . But since I hang around different sites connected to SP's I'll keep my eyes open about those interviews.
And I want to see that drawing you're doing, I bet that stare must be a pain in the *ss, but I also bet that you're being too critical about it! From now on I'll be keeping an eye on your work!
