Of course we don't know what Ichigo's Bankai or hypothetical Hollow mask will look like just yet; I simply took his most recent Bankai for the large blade and added a simple parrying knife to the chain. The mask returns to its original markings based on Kubo's (relatively) recent color page in which he used those marks on a hoodie Ichigo wore.

I find it interesting that his blade has always been "incomplete" as it were - from the hiltless, guardless shikai of its first manifestation all the way up to his bankai, in which the chain always ended with a broken link. Broken, as though something had been severed or was missing, as though it was meant to continue on towards something else...

At any rate, this took hours, and in the end I'm actually pretty happy with how it came out. It's various pencils on 8.5x11" paper, photographed for the digital realm (sad when I expect better results with a camera than with the scanner we have) and cleaned up a bit in Photoshop (the background is left white and blank - the photo made it look a gradient of grey due to the lighting). I'm about to take it outside and spray it with some fixative; I drew this late, late last night, when that wasn't an option.

That said, I'm not sure I want to just stick this in an art folder and let it languish there forever and ever. I'd honestly rather put this up for sale, if anyone's interested. I'm no pricing expert, but I'd say $20 seems reasonable considering the materials and my relative inexperience.
