Now stained and riddled with bullets.

We wage war with ourselves,
Giving ourselves false reasons to do so,
And we all believe it's alright.

You see me gliding through the trees,
You may not hurt me.

Once, when I saw your kind,
I feared.
I ran for my life,
To avoid a painful death.

Now you look upon me and see my beauty.

You see my amber eyes,
Staring with intelligence, not hate,
You see my graceful movements,
Not threatening, but soothing.

And now there is no need to be afraid,
For my fantasy became a reality.
Wolves and humans,
