Description Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Disney World. I'm really kind of amazed any of my PotC pics turned out since I wasn't using flash (unlike the nitwits ahead of us who did even though they tell you not to) and wasn't sitting still. Go little camera, go!

Y'know, I got to thinking the first time I went on PotC, and I wonder if Johnny Depp has ever sat and thought about exactly how amazing it is that his character is now part of the ride. I mean his image is part of Disney, at least until they remodel the ride which I doubt they'll be doing any time soon. That's kind of a huge deal if you think about it. In a way I think that basically becoming a part of such a beloved attraction is bigger than any award he could win for the movie role. Just my .

Pure luck. And I set my camera to burst so it takes multiple pictures when I hold the button down. I pretty much leave my camera on that setting unless I need to use the flash or something.

I got stuck on that ride summer of '08. All of a sudden all the boats stopped moving going around a corner. It was funny, there was a boat behind us turned to the front. About 5 mins later looked back and the boat was gone.

I've never gotten stuck on PotC but last year I got stuck on Haunted Mansion twice. The first time got annoying because we were stuck in a repetitive spot but the second time was pretty awesome.

I'd feel bad for people stuck on PotC in the ship scene. People could get kind of damp if they were there for too long.

There is a clip somewhere of him with one of the animatronics from the premiere of "Dead Man's Chest". Part of the celebration was unveiling the additions made to the ride. It’s really cute watching him check them out.

PotC is one of mine and Ryan's favorite rides at Disney World. I think we went on PotC, Haunted Mansion and Soarin' more than any other ride. We're big on riding certain ones multiple times.

I couldn't talk Ryan into going on Tower of Terror and I didn't want to do it alone.

I thought it was kind of funny that I'm the one that's afraid of everything, but he's the one that wouldn't go on Tower of Terror or Splash Mountain.

I've seen tons of on-board footage of the Tower of Terror ride it doesn't look that bad. Same with Splash Mountain. It'd probably just take some convincing or an excellent bribe.

I'd never been to Disney before the movie came out and honestly I probably wouldn't have been interested if it weren't for the movie. But I would have been made to go anyway and I would have loved it. I kinda wish I'd gotten to see how it was before they changed it though so I coudl compare the before and after.
