A Draft horse being bathed at the 2008 Geauga County Fair.
I did a lot of edits. I cloned out the halter and lead ropes (and did a pretty good job, if I do say so myself), removed the hideously over-exposed background (not so good of a job, aha), and then played with a bit of the curves.

I'm having hard time to find the words to praise this photo, it's just leaves me... well, wondering. It has that " ... " factor in a VERY GOOD way and I'm not quite sure what to say

Interesting shot. You managed to capture a lot of emotion in the horse's expression. It seems a little dark, though - and maybe a bit blurry. I suppose you were shooting in low light and that would have made it difficult to avoid those things.
Anyway, well done - I think you photograph horses in a very different way to many other people. That's the job of an artist - to show everyday life in such a way that it seems we have never seen it in that way before.

Yeah, it had actually just stopped raining about an hour previous to this shot. So that ruined my chances at sunlight. I did my best to clean it up in Photoshop, because I liked the pose too much to pass up because it's a little out of focus. :/
