Hey, I've just been using my Nikon D300 with the standard lens it came with, but I'm looking to get a new lens and possibly a new body as well, and I was wondering what you used? Especially for the majority of your equine photography.

I actually use a Canon, BUT! I know of someone who is selling some Nikon lenses :]]] my lense is a 28-135 lense... it isn't really to ideal, BUT it gets the job done :] if you're interested in the lense/ camera info, note me :]

Just reading through jernals and coments on your pictures and I must say I love you for having facts on things like appaloosas and their coat colours vs appaloosas as a breed right and trying to educate people about it and even knowing the whole paint and quarter horse thing lol, how many times I have see people muck that one up. So yay for people learning the history of breeds and colours people see as 'breeds'. BTW lovely photos I am in love with your hoeses. Amazing!

I just like appaloosas lol and I like to really know about the breeds I like. I do like the colours but it doesnt bother me if they solid. Luta was born solid but in the summer he started to get slight flecks of roaning comming through but when winter showed up he went solid again. But hes weird he hasnt got striped hooves, no scelera, not even molted skin except for the tinest bit on his genatals but most of that isnt visable now he is gelded. Ok hes not pure appy but hes 3/4 appy lol. Nuggets only half appy, maybe less seem a lot of appys here have a bit of qh in them to get rid of the lanky look a lot of them seem to get and to calm them down just a tad though nugget is wow colour, striped hooves, scelera and molted skin. He also has nutty appy moments and enjoys a good buck. I have never met an appy that doesnt buck lol but he wins games a lot cuz he just goes nutty and zooms around. So appys r great weather solid, coloured, nutty or quiet they just are the coolest horses even if most people I no in the horse world just tell me they are ugly.

I use a rebel myself, just to add, btu my horses aren't nearly as interesting to take shots of as your beautiful appy's. Lots of talent, and great work. keep it up - please!!
