Sometimes people already love you enough, but it's you who doesn't love yourself. And sometimes you are not trying to get noticed, just feel good about yourself. But i guess then the question can be asked to oneself too (:

Sadly the place I came across your powerful image was amongst a load of 'thinspo'... (have lost the link but found it via searching for 'thinspo' in google)

But yeah, SOMEHOW to some people, this is inspiration to be thin... It's so sad that there are people promoting anorexia and other similar eating disorders.

But yes. Powerful image. Like it.

You may think it's a trashy picture but I think it's oddly beautiful. It's the message to me that carries this picture to greatness, not the exposed skin. Though it is well taken, don't get me wrong. Just don't think it's trashy.

I completely love the concept.
this is really rather brilliant, its a shame you think its trashy... I think its something honest that people could relate to... It makes me think of the Post Secret books, the way they make people feel- like it lets you understand...

Excellent concept indeed.

I know someone that starved herself for running cross country. She got faster until she couldn't build any muscle due to lack of nutrients and protein. Anyway, love the message of this. The people that truly love you, love you for all your imperfections as well as your perfections--they love you just because you are.

I have to say that I really love what this says. It shows a lot about societal views about attraction and love and how it relates to needing to be so thin that girls will even go to extremes to fit into those societal norms. Wonderful, wonderful representation

I really like it when photographer's have writing on their bodies in pictures. It always just really moves me.
