the second sky dragon deity, Templetar, spirit of the nighttime
(pronounced temple-tar, not templeh-tar)
Templetar is an NPC, meaning anyone can draw him and involve him in stories (as long as it's withing sky dragons.)
About Templetar:
Templetar is the second sky dragon deity, despite being the youngest. He was not the first to master the element of air, but is regarded as the most skilled user of the orb. When Templetar's egg landed on earth, the other dragons noticed it was dotted with faintly glowing stars, the patterns of which echoed the real sky's constellations. Where Raz's great power was in his physical strength, Temp's was in his mind. As a pup he was an incredibly fast learner, quickly picking up on new skills and talents. He was apprenticed to Razamphael to learn to master an element, but the two quickly started to get on each other's nerves. Razamphael taught the importance of intuition, feeling, and listening to the heart, Temp prioritized logic, thinking, and problem solving. He approached learning an element in an analytical and scientific approach, something that greatly annoyed Raz. However, Templetar's skill was undeniable, and he quickly climbed the ranks of his class. Templetar earned his moon spade and ascended to a higher level when a terrible disease swept over the sky dragon's land, infecting many citizens. While Raz and the other deities did nothing, thinking the disease was unbeatable, Templetar used his intelligence and skill to study the disease and eventually find a cure for the plague. Templetar eventually opened a school to teach other sky dragons his knowledge and the importance of wisdom and intelligence. He is the deity that remained the closest to the mortal world, preferring to stay and live as a normal dragon rather than a god. Although he is the youngest deity, he is considered the most wise and intelligent of them. During their lifetime the other deities often sought him out for his advice on important matters. Templetar did not choose to ascend with the other gods and become part of the sky, so it's unsure if he was immortal or not. It is believed that when the other gods left the earth, Templetar stayed behind and is said to live as a nomad, wandering the earth to continue expanding his knowledge and wisdom. It isn't known whether he's still alive, but many believe they may have encountered him in disguise.
Templetar is the counterpart to the first sky dragon deity, Razamphael, the Everlight.
