the third sky dragon deity, Krozmu, spirit of the sunset
About Krozmu:
Krozmu is the eldest deity and definitely the most grumpy. He was among the first sunset Sky dragons to be born, and other dragons found him and others like him strange; it was thought only daytime and nighttime dragons existed. Krozmu never enjoyed the presence of other dragons, and preferred to spend his time wandering in the woods or along beaches, caring for creatures smaller than him. His parents did not approve of this, wanting Krozmu to become a scholar or at least find some place in their city's society. Krozmu had intelligence and knowledge most Sky dragons did not- he was a philosopher of sorts, questioning the simple way of life that was considered normal for Sky dragon communities. He wrote tablets and scrolls full of his ideas and ponderings, all of which were ignored by the scholars of his city. His ideas were not liked or appreciated for a long time, but that was fine by him. After he was old enough to leave home, he spent most of his life away in his treehouse deep in the woods where he cared for the wild or painted beautiful works of art which he kept hidden from the world. While isolated, Krozmu mastered the element of Earth on his own and earned his orb. He would've spent the rest of his life that way had it not been for a terrible disaster- Krozmu's forest was burned to the ground by foolish dragons trying to start a fire to keep warm. Krozmu was forced to flee back into the city, homeless and brokenhearted. Eventually, his tablets and scrolls filled with writings were found by Razamphael. The sun deity searched far and wide for the author of the writings, and many scholars who had once mocked Krozmu's writings stepped forward trying to claim to be the ones who'd written the texts. Razamphael almost didn't believe it when the disheveled, raggedy Krozmu stepped forward and claimed rightful ownership. Razamphael eventually convinced a very annoyed Krozmu to help teach at his school, particularly to assist with a rather unruly student named Templetar. Krozmu wasn't particularly good at teaching elemental magic to students, as he had learned his element on his own, but he was a valued part of the school. He taught students the importance of protecting nature and the balance between society and the wild world. His skill with the earth and wild earned him his godhood. Just as the sunset represents the border between day and night, Krozmu represented the border between our world and the wild world of nature. After Razamphael and the spirit of the sunrise ascended, Krozmu instead became one with the forest itself, his spirit now protects the wild from danger and those who wish to harm it.
Krozmu is the counterpart to the fourth Sky dragon deity, Elesyan, the Quietrise.
