I usually don't play platformers, but I like everything about this game, inspiring emotional story, music, great animation etc. It was hard to solve some puzzles when time is limited by wall of magma or water, still possible for several attempts and was fun and challenging enough.Ori looks like a dragon to me (a bit like Patch), so here he is watching the forest of Nibel come alive.

Also, interesting, thinking of Ori as a dragon. I like the line of hair instead of usual dragon spikes; must have been quite a shock in puberty though

Ori looks a lot like a dragon to me too! Minus the wings of course, but not every dragon has wings. I always imagined him as a type of oriental/asian dragon cat creature. Either way, he is so cute and this art is great!

I haven't played the game yet, but listened to the soundtrack. Now I'm finding myself looking at fanart. Wonderful interpretation of him, though. As a dragonlover myself, I may be imagining him as one when I do get to play. Wonderful job on this.

I also fell in love with the game. I've personally played through it about 5 times, and I now have most of my friends and family addicted to the game. I feel like a bit of a jerk because I kinda pressed it on them, but I smiled when they all fell in love with it like I did. When a game's that good, I guess you can't help but tell everyone about it, right?
I actually wanted to come up with some fan-art for the game, but the storyline kept me glued to the screen for too long. I couldn't help it. ^-^ Time to get back to the drawing.

I say yes. I believe it is easily a game of the year contender with it's precise control and beautiful environment. It just constantly grabs the eye. The story is touching in more ways than one, and going through the game is just...relaxing. Though it is not an easy game either. I died 143 times in my first run, though I loved every minute of it. My favorite part was when I died at one part like 30 times, and when I finally beat it, I just wanted to go back and do it again for the games pace and intensity at that moment is so strong. If you're not aware of the game style, it is a metroid-vania style gameplay. The music is also phenomenal, and the game uses some new ideas I have never seen before. I would easily say it's worth my twenty dollars and more.
