Just finished playing Ori and the Blind Forest, it's so amazingly beautiful QoQ It's story, artstyle, level design and Ori himself are just amazing. I did not mind doing backtracking though the world (though i was just an dummy who didn't realize where to go) because I could enjoy the beautifully crafted world. Also Ori himself is an adorable one, I felt quite bad for his many deaths ingame due to my very imperfect playthough heheh ^^" Though not to forget that the gameplay is really awesome, and even a non platformer gamer like me who enjoyed the game immensely.I wanted to capture the adorableness of Ori, and what better way than to have him cuddle the dragon fluffball of adorableness that is Mika? :3
Bathed in sunlight somewhere in a little corner of nibel, they enjoy each other's warmth and light, embracing the seemingly eternal moment and also each other within their loving arms~
extra artist's inspiration note: after 500-ish deaths and lots of traumatic near death experiences ingame, (and a real death before the game even starts) I feel so sorry for Ori, he must really be in need of a hug and a place to feel like home, hopefully Mika will make up for it with his warm fluffy embrace and blushy cheeks ^^
Made on Paint Tool SAI and a little Photoshop CS6, using a Wacom Intuos Pen Small

Is it one of those insanity platformers where you have to memorize patterns of everything that will kill you, or is more like Mario?

Umm well since I haven't played Mario before so I cannot really say for sure, but from what i feel is that it has a little bit of memorization since some parts of the game move pretty fast, though most parts are not that hard.

Get an emulator, and get a ROM and play it. You need too!
Although that may be hard because Nintendo recently went
on a crusade against all the places where roms of their games
are on and forcing them to take them off. I love Nintendo,
but things like this really makes me have a minor grudge
against them...
