Description Well, they did say they would be First, they kept their words. I just wish it wasn't for that.

(PS: I do know that not all country count their cases the same way, but even if it was the case, USA would still be largely ahead. (tho we will never get the real number of China and we all suspect a large one. Guess history will tell.) Anyway, still impressive.)

The "funny" part is that they alerdy are at 1.38M cases by now... They will hit the 2nd million in 2 weeks if it goes at the same speed. But hey, "just a flu"...

We'll never know the true number either... countless people died in nursing homes and at their own homes, who never got tested. They still don't have enough reliable tests for the living in the vast majority of areas. Trump's FDA, in the hands of people who don't know anything, approved all independent tests, resulting in a LOT of false-negatives, so even getting tested in most places doesn't tell you a damn thing.

And the really hard-hit areas like NYC had so many deaths every day, they had to just move the bodies out of there to make room for more, too many losses too rapidly to test them anymore. They even had to start burying the dead in Central Park. And several funeral homes got so overwhelmed that they ended up jumping ship, leaving piles of bodies in trucks and the facilities. Like a real-live horror movie... ;_;

Heh... maybe you could eventually do one about the COVIDiots. I also call them PROVID-19. Trump's supporters protesting against BEING SAFE! In tightly-packed CROWDS. With NO FACE MASKS. Many even bringing their CHILDREN!!! >

Talking about "exercising their rights", and "freedom of speech", when they forget that their rights end where another's rights begin, and that freedom of speech has the exception "unless that speech leads to direct harm." They're... literally bio-terrorists. :/  And of course, Trump congratulated and encouraged them, fueling the fire, until states/businesses felt pressured to reopen. While we're still at the TOP of the curve of daily new cases!

It's all because the Republicans love to pinch pennies when it comes to taxes... charge less of them so we get into deficit, but also use less of them on the people's needs, so more goes to the ultra rich. So now what we're seeing is that businesses pretty much HAVE to reopen now, with workers facing the increased risk of catching this and dying... because if people are REASONABLE and try to continue social distancing, but have no more money to pay bills/rent/food... they'll be told by the governments "You want money? Then get back to work." It's an excuse so they no longer 'have' to give people relief funding.

It'll be a disaster... the CDC began projecting the harm this will cause, so Trump responded by sending them packing, canceling their announcement of new projections (which thankfully they leaked anyway), and is working on defunding/dismantling the taskforce covering pandemic response. In the MIDDLE of the pandemic. Wow. -_-

This could've been under control by June... now there's NO TELLING when, or even IF, this'll be over. I'm suffering so much, unable to go to so many doctors my poor health needs because most of my specialists aren't accepting patients due to being non-emergency, and I have a compromised immune system making me extra vulnerable. And psychologically after already being shut-in all winter, I outright NEED to go out around town to help my mental health; I have severe chronic dissociation (wasn't depression after all, at least not by itself), and the longer this goes on, the more I lose touch with my surroundings. It's getting to where I'm worried I won't keep being able to get out of bed anymore. But these TERRIBLE people with no empathy are causing this to go on SO much longer than it would have been... I hope I can hang in there...

No way in heck I'd take any more than the most utterly necessary chances out there (like getting my medications, and curbside pickup from the grocery store). I'd say only 15% of people around here wear facemasks/bandanas in public. -_-

There's even places opening that boast and brag about how they won't make their customers or workers wear a mask. Even FIRING people who DO wear any to work! And the fans of that are screaming "boycott!" about perfectly reasonable businesses that are taking the bold step of REQUIRING masks.

Worst thing is those people call themselves patriots, waving the American flags all over the place... all while they're DESTROYING America. The complete OPPOSITE of patriots! Heck, since we're at war with the virus, and they're out there feeding it with their bodies to keep it alive... they're LITERALLY aiding the enemy. Hmm, there's a word I'm looking for that matches that precise definition... begins with a "trai" and ends with a "tors."

Thank you. I really appreciate your message. All we can do is try our best to keep hanging in there. This can't last forever. We'll get through this somehow. <3
