Description This is a little sad, but I'm starting to discover that when I'm feeling down, nothing cheers me up like the bright colors and sweet characters in "Ni Hao, Kai-Lan".

My baby cousin that I often babysit absolutely loves this show (she's eighteen months old, SO cute and smart, and constantly asks "Ye Ye, please?"). And she loves it when I draw it for her.

Usually, I sketch her up little pictures of Kai-Lan and Tolee, as they are my favorites (my sister and I ship them in that adorably cute child way). This time, I thought I'd try something a bit different. Anime-style teenage Kai-Lan, and her favorite toy from childhood.

Why? Because I can, that's why.

This is sooo cute.

Is this colored brighter than your usual pictures? Something feels different about it, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Yeah, it is. Kai-Lan uses a lot of really bright colors, and toning it down made it feel...not at all like Kai-Lan.

I just...haven't felt like much of anything. Which is why I'm being a terrible person and not responding to anything you've put up . I just have no motivation for anything right now.
