Dark from DNAngel. After about throwing my computer out of the room because Photoshop erased a good five hours worth of work, I decided to try and ink something instead. *sigh* I could have lost more. Lots more. Still upset though.Anyway, still love DNAngel.

I had that happen to me with a past deviation. When I first started I used a mouse and it took me a good couple of hours... then my computer crashed T-T and I lost the majority of my work. So I had to re-do most of it again.... with a mouse, so I feel for you.

it's a spectacular likeness and also a messed up coincidence, i ran myself out of books last night and started re-reading DN Angel just for the sake of it.
I love the outfit, looks like the one from the st white's day volume, and it looks really real what with the lovley use of wrinkles
and fabulous perspective ad expression, it suits his personality.

As for me, I think layers are photoshop's strongest point. I mean, as long as you can merge them later (ctl + e) I'll have anywhere from 5 to 50 layers depending on the complexity of the picture.

Yeah, it took me a while to figure that one out too. You can also merge all visible layers by pressing (ctl + shift + e).

Ah, DNAngel, the manga was interesting. The show made me cringe (especially the English one)

Nice job.
The hair is awesome as always. You do all of that shades and highlights well.
I also like how it's not as messy as it appears at first glance. The messiness is like an illusion of some sort. All of the lines are very smooth and appear to be ordered just so. All in all a very nice piece indeed.

I took the "messy but not" from the reference I was working off of, although I do think hers is a bit messier. *shrug* I'd really like to know how anime guys get their hair to stay like that. I need some of that gel sometimes. Thank you!

Colored...evil. I'm having issues with colored right now because I'm working more on tones (Actually if you've taken a look in my recent documents, I've colored more in the last month than I have in the last 8 months). Will try though.
