*feeble tail flop*This morning's project! This was inspired by a special moment from last night with my favorite person <3 There were so many fireflies flashing at once, it was stunning! I knew I had to try and capture it somehow, so I tried my hand at another meager animation and it actually turned out rather well to me C:
Animating is a ton of fun, once you get it to work the way you want it to, haha! The art for this was finished in about two hours, the rest of the time was messing with gimp and trying to get it to cooperate haha~
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to retrieve all my weapons that some darned bokoblins stole from me in Skyward Sword D:<

Aww man, this is cool; and those lines look really nice animated c:
My only critique would be to make their actions not happen at the same time? Like when Aero's ear moves at the same time that Roze's tail does, it sort of makes it look stilted. (also their bodies look a bit noodley here? It's not super noticeable though! c: )
But wow the dark teal-ish lines look really nice with their red/orange fur.

Yeah, originally, I didn't want their movements at the same time because it feels forced and doesn't look as flowy, but I messed around with the settings on GIMP for far too long and couldn't figure it out. I ended up having to merge all of the layers multiple times so things would work in the proper order, and because i only drew frames of them moving, it was hard to get them to hold still without cutting the other's animation short.
I'm going to look into that though and fix that for next time hopefully!
And yeah now that you say it, they do look noodley :/ AH WELL

And hey, you tracked the strands of fur from one frame to the next! That's what a lot of people don't do in animation, but you did it, so be proud!
I wish I could do that with Maggie... I saw my first fireflies IRL last summer. xD Where I live we don't have fireflies. D:

GIMP can cause issues, but it always depends on what you're doing. :3
Unfortunately it wasn't nearly enough. She got few commissions, so we will have to wait until next year. Hopefully she gets her job soon.
