Description the view from herman saddle along the chain lakes trail at mt baker is indescribable..with small table mountain directly in front, to the left, mt shuksan in the distance..

and to the right..an amazing view of mt baker and the first of the chain lakes, iceberg lake

was just looking at some pics of the eastern sierras..indeed a slight resemblance to the baker area..but even more so the east side of the cascades! beautiful place, a must add on my to see list

I just love this..something about the sky is so very ethereal! Love the tones, textures, and mixture of softness and sharpness throughout the image. Truly keeps my eye wandering, finding something new to pause on every time through. Beautiful shot, sweetie.

thanks so much, bud! well in January you can ski at this place..well a little lower..is close to ten feet up there now, two feet fell up there in the last 24 hours! so probably not the best destination but definitely get a hold of me when youre up..will find some sick spots to hit up

Sounds AWESOME! I need a Little Northwest snow! Hopping Yosemite gets pounded this week so when ism up there next week i can get some Great Winter Shots!
