Oh, shucks. It's ard to know what that means, but right now it's in a the Museum of Aqua-Rat in Eastern Canada.

That's not Put! Me and Put are in NC as usual. The painting was commisioned and acquired by Aquarat in Canada, and I worked from a photo of her cat as a kitten near a board game that somehow involved Egyptian symbols..., and added the surreal background per requirments (if I remember right.). The kitten now a cat looks remarkably like Put2. I believe the last time I was in Canada was in Vancouver, BC many moons ago.

Oh! My bad. When she said the cat on the sofa is also the cat in the painting, I incorrectly presumed the sofa cat was Put. I keep reading what she wrote over and over and was scratching my head, but I still got it wrong!

I find scratching my head useful no matter what. At the very least it encourages blood to flow to the cranium and awaken me from whatever dogmatic slumber I may be laboring under.

Their sentience reaches deeply into worlds we are completely unaware of. If a human had those visions, they'd call him a nutcase. I think one job the cats have is to keep that world at bay, so it doesn't regularly slip into our own and we find ourselves unable to handle it psychologically.
People think cats chase their tails. No, they are chasing those beings that climb onto their tails for what they hope is a free ride into our reality.

It's a very scientific theory...I made it up myself! Put2 has no interest in catnip. Maybe she's just respecting my own sobriety.
