Name: Luciano Solano
Age: 76
Height:
Human: 6’4"
Monster: 7’10’’
Monster Type: Drider: Half human half spider beings. It is a male dominated race, most of which are trained as warriors for birth. It could be said that they are a slave species by nature. Female driders are rare, but not unheard of. There are usually two or three females per tribe/clan, and they are the leaders.
Grade: Freshman
Glamor item: Bridge Piercing
Characters Major: Potions
Current Classes: TBA
Passed Classes: TBA
Current Points: None
Natural weapons: Teeth, claws, venom, spider webbing.
Trained weapons: Archer’s bow with venom laced arrows.
Weakness: Fire, pesticides, water, large objects that have the potential to squish him.
Major Skills:
Speed: Particularly good at the lunge-and-retreat approach to fighting, his speed is one of his advantages in battle. Not exactly super-human speed, but definitely close to it.
Venom/Poison: Either through direct bites or lacing his weapons with his venom. The former is the most common occurrence due to the fact that he prefers close-combat. This is one of the skills that comes hardest for him, mostly due to the effort it takes him to accumulate enough venom to actually spit venom or lace his weapons with it during an actual battle. Usually, he does a lot of prep-work before battles to ensure he has enough to last him long enough for him to accomplish his goals.
Web Spinning/Using: Though this is something that he rarely uses, as he doesn’t really build webs or use them like other spiders would, he is able to spin his web for basic uses, such as trapping/wrapping people or prey up, mostly its used for storage and his own comfort or to protect someone (mostly from themselves) in the form of binding them.
Minor Skills:
Natural Gymnast
Polyglot (multi-linguistic)
Has a natural ability to knit and sew
Personality:
When you first meet him, Luciano may come off as a nice guy. Nice, but creepy. He is quite caring of others, and makes friends with ease due to his odd charisma. As caring as he may seem, he is not exactly the selfless-type. He is quite selfish and self-centered, opportunistic tendencies should come as no surprise when dealing with him. He isn’t particularly shy about the way he is, and when confronted he will flat out tell you that the most important thing to him is himself, as it should be. He is self-assured, independent, and stubborn as all hell when it comes to asking for help. While he isn’t necessarily outspoken, he is the furthest thing from shy. Luciano is not an open book, and he doesn’t talk about himself freely. Any personal information he gives out is considered a prized gift.
From his twisted world-view, the world is his playground, everyone in it are just toys, pets (you can thank his upbringing for that). He can be a bit of an asshole, and will speak bluntly, harshly. He has absolutely no problem with speaking his mind, and doesn’t really care if his words offend others or not. He does have a gentle side, though it’s more apparent with those who are really young or small, as his natural instinct is to protect.
Character's Background:
Luciano was born to a warrior tribe of Driders. He was taught to wield a bow and arrow from an early age after he failed to learn how to use a sword effectively. Once he was well practiced and had come of age, he was sold to a powerful warlock, per tribe tradition. His speed and skill helped him climb through the ranks until he was in the warlock’s personal guard. Every victory awarded him a prize in the form of a prisoner, which led to him thinking that people were nothing more than toys, prized he earned when he did what he was supposed to do.
Life for him continued with the warlock, until one day an assassin came in the middle of the night and killed his master. The freedom he found in his liberation was eye-opening. In that moment he swore he would never allow himself to live under the rule of another. He would live by his own rules,
However, in order to survive in this world, to be able to live on his own and do whatever he wanted, he would have to learn to blend in. Which is why he currently finds himself here.
Roleplay Info:
Luciano's eyes drew up in amusement, his oddly bright eyes were fixed on his feathers. "Such foul language for someone so small. You are funny, little bird." He let himself slip down a few branches. His long limbs allowed him to move easily down the length of the tree, until he was sitting just a few branches above the other monster. Observing the woman the thief had his eye on, he shook his head. “What exactly was it you were planning on doing, picking her up off the ground by her wrist and giving her a few good shakes until it just slips off? Tsk, tsk. Not very smart, now are you?”
