Personality: Nolan's the type of guy who's friendly... on the outside. He is very well mannered, smart, and manipulative. Most of what he does is for his own benefit but he's smart enough to go about it in a way that would keep his real motives a secret. He's cunning, witty, and in all honesty full of bullshit most of the time. He knows what he wants, and he wants it in that exact moment--- or as soon as possible if the former of the two isn't an option. He's fast on his feet and once he has his goals set, his determined and competitive nature won't let him stop until he has it. He's confident and opportunistic, and doesn't really like for other people to pull one over on him or get the last word.

But, jeez, how much of an ass can this guy be, right? Okay, to be honest... he's not that bad anymore. Sure, he's grown a general distaste for people due to certain incidents and would rather keep to himself or to just a few people he knows he can trust-- but let's be honest here, a lot of people are like that so you can't really hold that against him. Even though he's a borderline sociopath, he won't immediately knock you off if you just say hi. Goodness no, a smart Slytherin knows better than to burn all the bridges before he's even crossed them. If approached, he'll smile, wave, say hello, the whole shabang-- but he'll always keep you at arms length when it comes to deeper, more important stuff. There are only a few people he trusts when it comes to things like that, and unfortunately, you're not one of them.

A lot of changes have come his way and as expected, they'll affect his behavior. Don't get me wrong, he's still same old Nolan but... Possibly a little more behaved? Yeah, you can thank Tim for that. Why's that you ask? Well, Tim just so happens to be his boyfriend. Gasp. Yes, he's finally let himself be tied down. Granted, Nolan may not know a lot about being a boyfriend, and he might not always be the best one out there, but this kid sure tries. He tries not to be as flirtatious and jealous as he was in the past for Tim's sake (and by tries, I mean he fails), but it still slips out every now and then. He tries not to let his attention be stolen by that attractive blondie who just so happened to walk by. Old habits die hard, you know? He's still as headstrong and independent as ever; his stubborn and sometimes arrogant nature is bound to get on your nerves from time to time but trust me, this kid here... he'll grow on you.

History: Once upon a time an Irish man traveled to South America and met an Ecuadorian woman. They fell madly in blah, blah, blah, and suddenly they had a bouncing baby boy by the name of Nolan David Doyle. Kyle and Rosa, formally known as Nolan's parents, stayed in Ecuador to raise their son, hoping to keep him away from the Magical world that Kyle had come from-- on Rosa's request, of course. That plan, however, was soon tossed out the window when little Nolan was showing signs of his magical ability, and a few years later, when the invitation to attend Hogwarts arrived in the mail.

And just like that, the life of the Doyle family was changed. They packed up and moved to London, enrolling Nolan in Hogwarts and settling down there, all the while hoping that despite where he was, Nolan would settle for something.. a little more Muggle oriented. He spend his first four years at Hogwarts being pretty much incognito. During this time, he was figuring himself out, deciding where and what his place in the wizarding -or muggle- world would be. His nose was kept in the books, his grades were sky high, and one day, the realization hit him like a ton of bricks. Nolan wanted to become an Auror. Not just any auror, but the best damn Auror that London had ever seen.And now, with the beginning of his fifth year, he is sure of what he wants to do and puts most, if not all of his efforts into his grades so he may one day be able to take that first step to becoming an actual Auror.
