oh wow, been awhile since I've seen this one. I still love this one as much as when you first posted it so long ago.
It's really actually amusing, some of your oldest artwork is always going to be my favorite. There was one you had on your personal site, a really really long time ago, it was a very haughty looking dragoness with awesome spine-type things off her neck, that one was always one of my favorites, and it was one of the earliest I ever saw of yours online.

The bust of the black one, with the finny spines? Oh gosh, it took me a few minutes to unearth that from my memories. It's sad but I don't think I have a copy of it anywhere anymore, since I know I gave the original away. :{ There's lots of art I made when I was young that I didn't like then that I've love to have back. I'm so nostalgic.

The one I was thinking of was one that was very birdlike, the dragoness had like a frilly spiny mane and spines around her neck and feet. >.< I feel like such a stalker now, lol. Back before I was an artist, I kept a binder of the "good artists" that I admired, before I knew that it's not nice to print out other people's art. I was probably about 12 at the time, lol. Went hunting for that binder yesturday, sadly, most of the art I had of yours is faded and nearly gone. Printing on acidic paper will do that. But I did find a very faded copy of that picture.
*chuckles* i ramble, as always. 
I try to tell myself never to give away art that is personal to me. I draw a lot of other people now, but some pieces, I have to keep, because I know that one day I'll want to look back, see how far I've come.

I think my favorite is the bright pink sea serpent with wings and a saddle, though the one with the bird nesting in the guy's feet is pretty awesome too.
