Description
Two little guys from my sketchbook. It's not groundbreaking, but it's proof of my own existence.Truth is, I've draw figures this way when I'm lazy and don't want to work out real details. It's relaxing, if meaningless; because they're mine, I tend to find that adding detail removes the image from the point. So that's the challenge. Putting on details, features, limbs without sacrificing expression.

Well, thanks! Really, though? Senile at 19? Maybe you're not. Maybe you're just distracted... or scatterbrained, that's what I am. And happy. Do you ever think that maaaaaaybe the trick to being happy most of the time is not quite having it together? Like maybe if you remembered everything all the time, your brain would be so overloaded and heavy that you'd never be able to do anything else but ponder the myriad meaningless things you were consciously aware of at all times? I think it would be awful, but then, I'll never know.

Heh-heh...no I like them! My co-worker Roger was behind me when I pulled up this pick and thought they were funny little things. I just started laughing when I saw them, just because they were there...and they were staring at me - I couldn't make them stop. Roger says I should get a really big print of this one and put in on the wall in the dispatch center here, so we all always remember (or at least feel) we're being watched...heh-heh-heh...he-he-he-he-he-he...they really are such funny little things. ~K

i think the sense of space u acomplished just with one little shadow is amazing ..the characters are pretty cool too

thanks for the critique! I hadn't given much thought to the space, but I suppose you're right, and that's a very happy accident to notice. I shall pay more attention in future and see what develops. as it is, it's rather just a device I use to anchor objects on big empty sketchbook pages.
