Description
A drawing of owls. It's tiny. This is one tiny drawing of owls, in colored pencil. I've had this huge set of Prismacolors since high school and they're all still pretty much the same size. I use them here and there for a tiny little scratch of color and I've never used them the way you're meant to. I decided the other day to try to learn to use them right. Grind the life out of them, cramp my hands up, etc. Might as well. No real point having a beautiful set of pencils if you don't use them to their greatest advantage.That's right.
Anyway. A good friend recommended I give artist trading cards a try. So I drew owls. These owls are now on eBay. I'm selling the original.

Haha, I've seen some owls in my backyard, and they don't look like they'd be thrilled with a squeezin'. It's still worth a shot... but watch them feet!

Hahaha, yaaaay! Owls are the cutest. And one of the easier things to fake, drawing-wise. As it turns out. Very easy to make up what an owl sort of looks like and have it sort of look like an owl. I think that's a grand quality.

Oh I just love owls! I collect them. Did you know? You're right too, you should definately use colored pencils to their full capacity. They're my mainstay - those paints just have a way of messing with my view of things
