Description This my first attempt to make a 14th century armor, or close to it.
Made with iron and leather for the Coat of plates.

how heavy is your armour as my chain maille haubergeon and coiffe all told is 25 KG

maybe like 30 kg, since the chain mail type i used for that pic is called King's Chain mail, which is thicker and far more heavier, main reason why i stopped using it, and wear something lighter.

No, unfortunately i am not a Blacksmith, I work with Metal but my all i do is welding, building modern stuff like balustrade and stuff..
I wish i was a Blacksmith ^^'

many thanks \m/. Well, i learned it from tutorials from internet, watching how patterns fit. and by testing the use of iron sheets. But before using iron i did cardboard armors. The chainmail is not my work, only the plates and the brigandine.
