This was a fun costume to make. The basic design was simple enough not to make me go crazy with problem solving, yet had enough little details to keep it interesting.

There are 12 zippers on this thing, and 16 braids. I cut all the bias strips for the braids, braided them, and sewed them on by hand. It was rather time consuming, but I like the result.
The vest is fully lined, and all the zippers act like pockets, which I think is super cool.

And you can't really tell, but those are some of the nicest pants I've made, if I say so myself (they have real pockets and everything!)
