Thanks! Yeah, it was great! My dad came to visit, I got a tripod for my camera, and he let me drive to the grocery store and back (I'm finally going through drivers ed, and hadn't driven on the road until then)!

Thanks! I've been doing really well so far! I drove out to our main shopping district today to do an exchange at Wal-Mart and did a lot better than I thought I would. Lol! And I haven't had any actual drivers ed in car lessons yet, just the classroom. My road test is coming in October!

Lol!! That's ok!
My birthday honestly wasn't all that great. My mom passed away the morning before. :( (Sad) If anything, it was relaxing since I get 5 days bereavement from work. Sweating a little... I had a fruit tray instead of a cake, because I eat way too much junk. =P (Razz)

Ballie I gotta complaint!
As much as I like the show Jem, I saw the recent rerelease of the entire series.

And honestly, the Rhino DVD's visual quality was SO much better.
I can show you a comparison later. With missing animation >_>

But more importantly, I got to say I do not like this episode. [link]
No misfits?? How can they have any episode of Jem without teh misfits!?
It's simply unbearable! Like my god, the things they and Eric Raymond get away with in this show is what makes it all so intertesting!

And here in this episode they supposedly go to some Renassance festival, where its really just some excuse to retell some robin hood story.
Just the irony.

I like Jem. I like Jem alot.
But I can't stand this episode like, all the guards are actually using swords, and the people are being 'robbed' and this prince guy is becoming lord, it just.

God! This is NOT a renassance festival, they just wanted to stick Jem & the gang in the dark age.
Why did they do this to us?
Like oh god I feel sorry for the poor girls who had to wake up to this episode!
Looking forward to it all week, as they finished their school and homework every day.

And rather than a modern episode where the misfits cause unthinkably fun mischief to make Erica Benton's life a living hell, they get treated to this highly questionably rather dull retelling of robin hood.

And I know 80s people can do whatever the hell they want but when I saw Jem swordfighting I just snapped.
It's just my god, my god.

I love this show, I truly do.
But this episode was outrageous.
Truly truly outrageous.
