Description I figured I should post some low-resolution wireframes of my Stump model, just to give people an insight into the process. Also, experienced 3D modelers will be able to point out all my mistakes. (Please remember that this is the first human character I've ever attemped to build in the computer, so be gentle.)

Anyways, the numbers on the side displays the stats of the model. The faces would be the actual polygons, so this model consists of 6944 polygons.

yeah dude, your wires are pretty good and for a first timer that's actually REALLY good. You have some weird topology under the nipples and such but those areas shouldn't be too annoying if you rigged it. OH! you may need some more edge loops around his knees like you do on his elbows or else he'll have trouble squatting. but over all awesome job! wish i was that good right off the bat!

Thank you, I'll look into adding some more tesselation around the knees. That might solve some of the problems I've been having in my test rigs.

The wireframe looks pretty solid in my opinion, I wouldn't wanna have to be the person to rig this up but seriously it doesn't look as complex after you examine it for a bit, I think it's well done. I've checked out the backside wires and the facial wire too, you did quite well with it. And it renders quite beautifully too.

Yeah, the rigging is defintely a process. especially since most of the books I've read only really teach you how to rig up characters with simple bodies that will be covered up with clothing. So I'm finding that I have to figure out a lot on my own.
