Yep they are big and unnervingly fast on land. You have to treat them with respect, especially at the time of year when the males are jostling for a mate.

yeah you should keep your distance mate. These guys move bloody fast, and no doubt you saw countless seals with eyes missing?

Yeah surprisingly fast given their size and apparent immobility. Yep saw lots of war wounds, some old and healed, some much fresher.
