I envy everyone who lives in an area with deciduous trees. I know they make a mess every season but I have (possibly misplaced) romantic notions about running down a street with all the beautifully coloured leaves falling around me.All lines where inked by hand using artline, faber castel and copic markers. Crackle background is a piece of pattern paper, scrunched, flicked with diluted coffee and dusted with coffee granuals. Shading and various effects done in photoshop. Credit for the funky border (which was adapted slightly) goes to PsyDoxArt.

Oh my... He looks so... lion-ish (I know there's a fox-like tail, but the face and claws look really like a lion's).
Somewhat less romantic for me because of that, but... I can't resist the beauty of those falling leaves. All in all, this does have it's magic.

Really, lionish. I hadn't considered that before you pointed it out; makes me look at it in a whole new way.
I really not happy with the face; when I went to ink it I foolishly decided to lengthen the cheekbone...and then it all went wrong.

So much deep thought to this one. I like that. And you didn't just shop around for a texture, you made it. Which immediately deepens my respect for your artistic determination. I love it to death. And yes, walking down a street where leaves fall is wonderful. I can't bring myself to rake come fall ^^
