# About me
My interest in art began at a very young age under the guidance and kind instruction of my mother, who had worked for some years as a free lance portrait artist herself in Quebec, Canada. I experiment in a variety of genres, and though I pursued learning realism in highschool and through my mother, I also found great delighted in impressionism and the cartooning styles commonly found in Japan. Styles which I develop continually now.I usually listen to instrumental, Rock and Jazz when I draw.

I wish that I had a style so "me" as yours is for you. Your art has so much feeling and personality. I loved going through your gallery and seeing your progression as an artist. Mermaids are my favorite mythical creatures, so that especially attracted me.

Oh gosh, the amount of old work in my gallery is staggering, hahah, sometimes I get discouraged by having it there, but I think it's worth it when I get such comments : D

Really faltering at life and not at all where I want to be, but trying to move forward and become somebody; so I guess while I am down, I am at least facing forward now (or at least the direction I perceive to be foward) which is more than I could have said a couple years ago, and that's something in itself to be hopeful about.
