I got inspiration to make this after looking at stuff by &**Update 7/27/2016: here if you have trouble reading the text this should help:

I'm sorry! Was Colors not well received? IGN rated it 8.5/10
Was Generations not a good homage for the older fans? (Yeah, I know. That was partially because the nostalgia card) IGN rated it 8.5/10 as well.
I'm not going to defend the other titles because, to be honest, they're pretty shit. I know it's hard to read comments like these. I respect your personal opinion. But there will be criticism on the internet, and you are subject to get somewhat harsh feedback.
I'm not a massive sonic fan, I understand where you're coming from, but these are the hard facts.

For Me and a lot of other people we don't like colors or generations. For me I could only enjoy generations in terms of its gameplay cuz the storyline is halfbaked, and the levels are unoriginal and just rehashes.
Also nothing of what you said was really all that harsh. You're just sharing how you feel and I totally respect that.
Now had you said something like "you're fucking retarded for not liking colors and generations" which you didn't.

I also loved the pre-reboot sonic Comics, and I certainly luv the games... but still, it's not like the pre-reboot was the best of the best and certainly the after-reboot is not the worst of the worst.
Actually, I don't even think it was Ian's fault. In some aspects, Ian is a better writer than Penders.

I'll say what I've said to almost everyone else about this topic.
I only enjoy Ian's pre-genesis stuff(especially house of cards)
I can't stand any of the stuff for the reboot he writes(which makes me thankful Evan Stanley(this girl: ) is a writer for the reboot too)
But I still easily prefer Ken Penders over Ian as a whole cuz when he wrote the characters, they felt more than what they were in the games. They had a sense of humanity when penders was in control. But when Ian took over they all became carbon copies of how they act in the games.
