First off, I am disappointed with my scanner cause this looks really grainy compared to the real thing. I may have to rescan this later becaues the real picture looks so much better than this bad scan.Anyways, this is again Baron Gabriel, my brother's character, only I think I did a better job this time around. I really started getting into the idea of a medieval knight character right about the time the movie Kingdom of Heaven came out because it really showed me that there is no such thing as a true hero in most movies these days... You know what I'm talking about, the kind of hero that is determined and never wavers and isn't a priest-slaying heretical moron (I.E. Orlando Bloom's character in Kingdom) But honestly, I really want to create a knight-based set of characters who are firm in their beliefs and know how to live according to the Truth and that is why I've really been enjoying drawing Gabriel lately.
This drawing probably marks the most advanced my line-art skills have gotten to this point and I'm fairly proud with the real drawing...but as I said earlier, the scan leaves a bit to be desired. Hopefully you like it.

Parker, Holy crap. I'm not really sure what to say, this just rocks so hardcore. This pic makes me wanna try to draw Gabriel right now, too bad my pencil's out of led. The shading on this pic is absolutely insane! And its totally better in real life! I know that because I remember seeing it in real life. I'm telling you bro, you seriously got some skill, and I'm glad you're actually proud of this one, because if you weren't I'd seriously have to give you a slap to the face. I are need a frame so I can put this one up on me wall! We should get a bunch of fools together and see if we can get this to be a daily deviation because I seriously think it deserves it! yeah they will prolly feel real bad knowing that they havent discovered his awesome work earlier and feel so damn bad that we had to point out to 'em how hard he rocks and then they will decide to ban us and pretend that they had discovered him first! And give him one of those lame awards that they give to people and feature all of his gallery as DD and stuff....So, you gonna suggest it to some member of gallery staff??

Well, sometimes it's nice to have a hero with a few flaws. He doesn't have to succumb to them, but the fact that he's still vulnerable makes him more admirable when he succeeds in being so determined.
