Meet Loot!

My first shark character! Oh he is so cute, I love him!

Loot will be part of the Undertow comic cast. He is the main protagonist's pet and loves playing fetch. He got his name 'Loot' because he is always finding objects and bringing them back to his owner. Crushed plastic bottles are his favourite 'toy' to play with, but anything will do. Every year, over 1 million plastic bottles are pulled as rubbish from the ocean.

Originally the protagonist's pet character was a stingray called Krill. The stingray was a bit difficult for expressions and just not hat interesting. Then I thought of how sharks could be like little dogs and it all came together. Epaulette sharks are so adorable!
