African openbill stork (Anastomus lamelligerus), Caprivistrip, Namibia.
These are quite impressive storks, and it is of course not hard to see where they get their name. We saw quite a few of them, once we got near the Mashi river. The bill evolved like this to specialize in opening the shells of snails and other mollusks.
