i know what you mean. but isn't it so much harder to make good photo with such a lame (generally, i mean) motive?
i think, you captured it quite interesting, like the aliens are coming to get him. or like an expressive piece in the manner of "wow, there is my bone" or such...

that's probably cause hardly ever yo usee a good photo of a pet and either way it means nothing to you because it's not ur pet, but this is really good

i'm really curious about the lighting in this one... is it at night? or did u just burn the shadows a lot or something, i really like it. its like theater lighting or something, like from the old wizard of oz, in the begining when its in black and white. thats what it reminds me of.

well it was early evening with lots of shadow from trees around, only a bit of light got through. I burned a bit in the upper right corner where some plants were visible though.
